Summary
The EnoTour project aims to drive regional development and innovation in the enotourism sector by fostering public-private digital solutions for training, upskilling, business innovation, and marketing. This initiative is supported by a European network of universities, vocational education providers, wine cooperatives, wineries, and regional tourism boards from Catalonia, Porto, Veneto, and Bordeaux.
The project has the following specific objectives:
- Develop digital tools to enhance the wine tourism sector in key European wine regions, promoting both local and international enotourism.
- Create innovative pathways for micro-credentials in the wine industry, targeting students, professionals, and lifelong learners to strengthen the human resources necessary to sustain and innovate in the sector.
- Provide sustainable, professional solutions for marketing local wine industries, based on collaborative public-private, intra- and inter-regional approaches.
The primary outcome of EnoTour is the development, piloting, and expansion of the EnoTour Virtual Platform. This platform will offer multiple target groups a unified space to connect training, professional development, and enotourism services.
