Summary
MyComm seeks to empower youth organizations committed to migrant and refugee inclusion by connecting them at the EU level and enhancing their capacity to communicate and influence both policies and public perception.
The project focuses specifically on building the audio-visual capabilities of these organizations, enabling them to produce collaborative videos that share powerful, personal narratives of migrant and refugee youth. This creative storytelling is complemented by capacity-building initiatives aimed at strengthening advocacy efforts.
The partnership unites eight EU-based organizations, each with extensive experience in youth work, migration, audiovisual techniques, and social inclusion. The collaboration is grounded in the partners’ collective expertise and complementary strengths. Key partners include leading youth advocacy organizations such as JEF, VYRE, and KOKEN, recognized for their leadership in shaping policies and driving social change.
MYComm targets the staff of youth organizations, equipping them with skills in social media strategy, creative communication techniques, audiovisual tools, and public advocacy. These capacities will enable them to address key policy issues related to migrant inclusion, raise public awareness, and ultimately influence public perception.
