Summary
DigiGradAfrica aims to improve the quality and relevance of training for graduate students and young researchers in Africa, with a particular focus on supporting regional and global development goals. The project leverages the opportunities offered by digitalization and international collaboration to enhance research and postgraduate education.
The initiative is based on the belief that international partnerships are key to strengthening research capacity and postgraduate training in Africa. Additionally, it recognizes that digitalization can be strategically employed to boost internationalization and enhance the research and training capabilities of African universities.
The partnership brings together eight universities from Ghana, Kenya, Burundi, and South Sudan, each offering unique strengths while addressing different capacity needs. All partners are members of ANIE (The African Network for Internationalization of Education), which coordinates the project with the support of OBREAL and universities from The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and Belgium.
