Summary

The project aimed to assist Morocco in developing a new national Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (HE), aligning its work with societal needs and international standards. It focused on enhancing academic quality assurance (QA) and its outcomes, identifying essential components of a national QA system and creating a transition plan to meet international norms. Through dialogue with key stakeholders, it established shared purposes and principles for QA in Moroccan HE. Specific objectives included developing a Road Map for QA implementation, a White Paper for stakeholder guidance, a toolkit for Internal and External QA, and a Code of Practice for university QA management. The project aimed to foster a quality culture and sustainably improve Moroccan HE over a 10-year period.
