Summary

YOUTH IS AN AUDIOVISUAL ISSUE is a project aimed, on the one hand, at strengthening and promoting youth associations – from participatory audiovisual work based on citizen journalism, edutainment and communication for peace – and, on the other, change the negative imaginary towards youth that exists in Colombian society. To achieve this, we will work on:# # 1.#formation of organizations youth # 2. # facilitate their meeting and agreement on problems and content # 3. # broadcast local, regional and national programs on television that position new perspectives on youth # # Focused on the regions of Bogotá, Quibdó, Valle del Cauca (priority regions of AECID) and in the department of Meta, since it is there where the conflict has most strongly damaged the possibilities of economic and social development of youth, and where poverty limits their aspirations and opportunities; The project will give voice to five youth organizations with a past of
associationism based on the search for the formalization of their rights and the education of a responsible civil society.
