Summary

Linking-MED-Gulf served as a vital link between Europe, its MENA neighbors, and the Gulf in the realm of Higher Education and Research. It aimed to strengthen relations between these regions, promote synergies among HE institutions and industry, and continue the path opened by the JISER-MED project. By improving awareness of the Bologna Process, strengthening relations between Quality Assurance and Higher Education, discussing the University-Industry relationship, and fostering interdisciplinary policy debates, the project contributed to increased participation and mutual understanding among stakeholders. Outputs included comparison studies, research papers, roundtables, forums, focus groups, workshops, seminars, and a dynamic website portal. The project played a crucial role in extending discussions on HE cooperation to the Gulf and set the stage for future collaborations and projects in the region.
