Summary

The RESUME project aimed to contribute to the modernization of the higher education system in participating partner countries, with a focus on education, training, and career guidance. It provided tools and training to develop a cross-cutting entrepreneurial mindset within universities to enhance the employability of future graduates.

Recognizing the importance of dialogue and cooperation among stakeholders, including the education sector, businesses, and political authorities, the project brought them together to promote dialogue, understanding, and collaboration, particularly through planned pilot projects.

Specific objectives of the project included strengthening interaction between higher education institutions (HEIs), businesses, and local, national, and regional authorities; improving the quality and relevance of higher education and career guidance; identifying and implementing solutions to bridge gaps between education, university culture, and the job market; exchanging best practices for promoting entrepreneurship within HEIs and fostering relationships between HEIs and businesses; identifying best practices in cooperation between authorities, HEIs, and businesses; supporting the development of policies to promote entrepreneurship for improved employability in the region; paying special attention to the impact of best practices and policies on the employability of vulnerable groups, particularly young women; and creating a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment within HEIs by providing academic and administrative staff with the necessary knowledge and skills to promote entrepreneurship from multiple perspectives.
