Summary
PRICNAC aims to enhance research and innovation capacities across Central African countries by strengthening innovation ecosystems, fostering productive synergies, and advancing digital technology and innovation policies for sustainable development and poverty reduction.
The project supports and funds third-party initiatives in eight Central African countries: Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Chad.
The project addresses the following key priorities:
- Increasing access to digital literacy, emerging technologies, and knowledge.
- Aligning research and innovation skills development with labor market needs.
- Building effective synergies within the research and innovation ecosystem, including private sector involvement, and facilitating technology transfer.
- Integrating local and indigenous knowledge with formal knowledge systems and practices.
PRICNAC focuses on creating a robust environment for innovation and addressing local development challenges.
