Summary
START CIRCULAR aims to merge two key European priorities: preparing entrepreneurial graduates for sustainable business development and strengthening university-SME collaboration in education and training. The project supports the transition to a circular economy, as outlined in the European Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP 2021), emphasizing the creation of green jobs and sustainable growth.
START CIRCULAR responds to the need for higher education systems that foster leaders and entrepreneurs in circular economy fields, working in collaboration with industry and NGOs. It addresses current challenges such as the impact of COVID-19 on education and business and the need for Europe’s economic recovery to focus on innovation and sustainability.
One of the project’s key outcomes is the development of an Integrated Entrepreneurship Management Model for universities and SMEs, along with training and the creation of Sustainability Labs to promote sustainable business practices and reduce environmental impact.
