Summary
YouthWell aims to establish a dynamic network across participating countries, fostering collaboration among young people and youth workers to enhance social and civic competencies, promote solidarity and social inclusion, and advocate for mental health and active citizenship. The project targets marginalized youth, youth workers, trainers, youth leaders, and staff of youth organizations, with the goal of directly benefiting at least 500 individuals and reaching over 10,000 indirectly through online tools.
The project implements a range of non-formal learning activities, including training sessions, exchanges, networking events, local campaigns, and online initiatives. A key component is the creation of a youth network designed to be resilient, inclusive, and active. This network will involve digital youth advocates and organizations in organizing both local and online events. Additionally, youth workers will receive training at both EU and national levels to support resilient and active citizenship.
YouthWell will produce four key outputs:
- A training package and manual for youth workers.
- A youth network and community of practice.
- A policy recommendations paper.
- Opportunities for learning mobilities for the target groups.
By fostering collaboration and advocating for mental health and active citizenship, YouthWell seeks to empower young people to become proactive agents of change in their communities, paving the way for a brighter future.
